1.**Financial Public Sector Deficit:** Represents net lending/borrowing, equaling government revenue minus expenses and net nonfinancial asset investments. The Primary Deficit adds interest payments to net lending/borrowing. Measured in local currency units (LCU) and as a percentage of GDP, available since 1970. 2.**Public Sector Expenses**: Total expenditure by government bodies, covering employee compensation, goods and services, investments, social benefits, debt interest payments, subsidies, and transfers.
