This dataset contains a spliced Consumer Price Index. IMF data (dataset [here](https://www.alphacast.io/datasets/inflation-global-imf-consumer-price-index-monthly-38399)) is combined with World Bank's Global Economic Monitor (dataset [here](https://www.alphacast.io/datasets/global-world-bank-global-economic-monitor-cpi-price-nominal-not-seas-adj-monthly-30041)) to produce a longer time series with global coverage.
